Mayaa
Thila is among the well-known dive
sites in Maldives located in North
Ari Atoll, 3 km north-west side of
Maayafushi Resort. Mayaa Thila is
a list of marine protected area in
the Maldives. The outer surface of
thila goes up to 8 meters. Mayaa thila
is a greater congregation of marine
species such as grey reef sharks,
white tip sharks, Frogfish, stonefish,
batfish and zebra morays. The board
of Mayaa thila is characterized by
massive guise of false Tubastrea that
is bright orange coral. There is a
rock in the shape of a large satellite
on board the thila. Grey reef sharks
ranged between thila and the huge
rock satellite.
Mayaa Thila in the Maldives has an
average visibility of 20 meters and
a depth of 15 metres. A small satellite-shaped
rock south of the thila is an ideal
site for scuba diving night. Caves
that overlook the cracks are covered
with impressive coral formations.
Baliste, Angelfish, dogtooth tuna,
Fusilier, sea turtles, monkfish will
make your dive safari delicious. With
a diameter of 80 meters, the thila
can be covered in one dive. In the
Mayaa Thila of the Maldives lies a
lot of attractive white tip reef shark
that patrols the reef.
