Lhaviyani Atoll

Lhaviyani atoll of the Maldives is located 140 km from Male. Lhaviyani atoll or Faadhippolhu has countless exotic dive sites. Of the 50 islands, only five islands are inhabited in Lhaviyani atoll. The atoll welcomes you to discover your imagination under the deep blue sea.

Immerse yourself in the Fahigiri coral at the eastern end of the chain Fehigili. The reef is made up of caves soldier fish housing, and harlequin sweet lips squirrelfish. During your s Fahigiri safari, if you're lucky, you could find grey reef sharks, tuna, trevally and barracuda swimming in the reef. Whether you are a beginner or advanced diver, you can dive safely to the reef. It has an average visibility of the submarine up to 25 meters and the maximum depth of diving is 20 meters.

Kanuhuraa Kandu south of Kanuhuraa chain offers exquisite experience for diving adrift. Fushifaru Kandu offers divers to dive when the tides are inward or flowing through the atoll. Examine closely the various grey reef sharks, barracuda, eagle rays, tuna and jackfish in the fairway.

Visit Fushifaru Thila to the east of Fushifari Island, which are 250 meters long and 30 meters wide. The place is best placed to spot girelle Napoleon, snapper and manta. Lhaviyani atoll of the Maldives has rich marine species. You could swim along with colorful fish and explore the hidden treasures of sub domain. Fushifaru kandu, Fushifaru IRFFI, Olhukolhu Faru, Dhighdhoo Faru, Narcola Giri, Kuredu Ocean Reef, Aligau and Hinnavaru Kandu are some diving sites in Lhaviyani atoll. Take a dive safari to experience Lhaviyani cooling water and examine closely the marine species in color. You won’t be disappointed in the Lhaviyani atoll.
